observer’s love poemJanet Kuypersedited from 7 and 7, plus 18 07/19/10
maybe I’m not a writer
I travel around the world
I fly in airplanes
molecule by molecule,
but outer space
and in all this madness
with you I have walked on the tops of glaciers
I bought a balalaika for my guitarist in Russia
as I said before,
I’ve seen galaxies collide
as I said, I’m only an observer
I’ll tighten my grip on your hand
