I’ve seen you through
the good times and the bad
the happy and the sad
and through each and every high point
and each and every low point
you’ve always been my friend
i can put my trust in you
my faith in you
and my hope in you
and i thank you with all my heart
i have told you my fears
and i have told you my dreams
you have listened intently
and understood
you have pulled me through
some of the hardest times of my life
and i’ll never forget that you’ve given to me
