“Shattering the Glass Ceiling” was conceived of by publishers at cyberwit.net, asking Janet Kuypers to compile her poetry, & she developed this book of women’s issues - and this collection includes poetry not only about acquaintance rape (since she worked as an acquaintance rape workshop facilitator for years), violence against woman and sexism in general, but also about women’s issues that relate to events and dates in the calendar year. Select poetry in this collection is also translated into Hindi, Dutch, Slovak, Spanish, Farsi, Lithuanian, and Chinese. This book also contains select essays, prose and a journal entry about feminism globally, and even includes the section “the book for men” about terminology for women.
